Best Time To Drink Green Tea

Anytime works! But it is best to drink our green tea blends in the morning so that you get a sustained kick all through the day. You can supplement your morning energy dose with one in the afternoon.

Drinking tea right before bedtime can delay the onset of sleep and keep you awake for longer. It is best to consume caffeinated beverages at least 2 hours before bedtime. If you usually go to bed around 10 PM, drink your last cup of tea around 7 PM to relax, and you can then have dinner and go to bed.

To get the maximum benefits from our green tea, drink it on an empty stomach. However, if you suffer from health conditions such as IBD, GERD (acid reflux) or other such problems of the liver and stomach, drink tea with your meals or after you’ve had them.

Autumn and winter are perfect for any warm beverage—including our amazing green teas. If you do not relish warm drinks in the summer, you can create a great summer cooler with our green tea infused with some warm water and ice!

Tea Benefits

Absolutely! You can add sugar, honey or artificial sweeteners to green tea, but a lot of sugar will easily overpower the delicate flavour of herbs infused in the tea. We suggest drinking green teas without sugar to preserve their delicate herbal and floral flavours.

Drink green tea 45-60 minutes after your meals to get the maximum benefits. We recommend 3-5 cups of green tea a day to get the most benefits.

Definitely. When paired with a healthy diet and some exercise, green tea will boost your metabolism, help you digest food and increase the time between meals, helping you lose weight.

Tea provides the hydration your skin needs, and its anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants may help reduce dark circles, fine lines, reduce sebum and control acne! You can even prepare a steam facial with our green tea to take things a step further!

Some studies have shown that the bioavailability of the antioxidant epigallocatechin gallate (or EGCG, which gives green tea most of its benefits) is better without food. This is why many health experts recommend drinking green tea on an empty stomach. However, ensure that you consult your doctor before you drink tea on an empty stomach.

Suitability

Absolutely! Caffeine in tea helps to give you an energy boost and improve concentration. Additionally, amino acids such as L-Theanine give you a sustained dose of caffeine throughout the day instead of a singular spurt right after drinking it, helping you concentrate better.

It is best to avoid giving caffeinated beverages to young children. However, green tea is far healthier than some colas and energy drinks containing massive doses of caffeine and other harmful chemicals. If you must, create a cooler for your children with a 1:4 ratio—one cup of green tea infusion for every 4 cups of water. This will help them to get an energy boost and drink a healthy, fun drink!
